Hi ,
I have a block of numbers of m*n size that I want to deal with them as matrix and get the inverse of this matrix .
I followed the steps in this video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gSNa3fQX0WQ
which is basically using the minverse(marking the matrix block) , then cntr+shift+enter after marking the result area .
This doesn't work for me , it gives #num! and for bigger blocks #value!
I think some solver must be loaded first from the options .
How can I do that ?

Thanks in advance

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
What are you trying to do with your matrix?

If it's solving simultaneous equations, you normally use MINVERSE on n equations in n variables, i.e. a square matrix.

Non-square matrices (i.e. m by n, with m <> n) do not have inverses (in the conventional sense). So MINVERSE will return #VALUE.
