Good afternoon everyone and thankyou for your time. I am having a problem figuring out the correct formula I need. I am using the following formula to count from a different tab specific cells that are stated as Not Started. I need to expand this to include cell within the same range that are blank. I have tried adding a comma and "" after the quotes following Not Started in many forms but have not had luck. Any input would be greatly appreciated...Thank you all

=COUNTIF(EHS!$I3:$I36,"Not Started")

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.

Try

=COUNTIF(EHS!$I3:$I36,"Not Started") + COUNTIF(EHS!$I3:$I36,"")

Try this:

=SUMPRODUCT((EHS!$I3:$I36="")+(EHS!$I3:$I36="Not Started"))

Also...

=SUM(COUNTIF(EHS!$I3:$I36,{"","Not Started"}))

Aladin,

Now I have to remember that one! That is a great way to do an OR criteria sum!!!

I love it!

Opps! I meant:

"OR criteria counting".

Not only must we robustify our formulas, but our words also!
