Hello there
I'm stuck on a problem and i could use your help
I'm stuck on a problem which is trying to get values dynamically where the full path is stored in cells
I know that INDIRECT doesn't work on closed workbook so i decided to use a UDF to do the task
My question is : Can an UDF open the closed workbook and pull the value or is it not possible ?
I'd really like to implement that UDF so that excel users in my workplace can enter the function like a formula directly as it gives them the illusion that no VBA was invovlved
Thanks in advance

Copy PDF to Excel
Select data in PDF. Paste to Microsoft Word. Copy from Word and paste to Excel.
Yes, it can but not in the same excel instance. You have to create a new application instance and open the workbook there. Quite a bit of overhead.
