Value Comparison

If I have a sheet which fetchestabular data from a webpage and refreshes the data every minute, is it possible with excel to compare the present vaule in the cell with the previous value that was present in that very cell ?
If yes, how ?

Here's another example: it logs the time of change of A1 to column B and the value to column C.

Right click the sheet tab, select View Code and paste in the code.

what it does is.. it stores the values in seperate cells.. right ?

It monitors A1. Every time A1 changes it appends the time to column B and the value to column C. If you want something else to happen please explain what exactly.
