VB does not like the " character in certain commands -

ActiveCell.Formula = "=if(a1>=6000,"PL","BS")"

The above formula (less VB gumff) works directly in an excel cell when typed in by hand ie =if(a1>=6000,"PL","BS") , but VB wont accept the above command to place the formula within the activecell.

Any ideas ?
