VBA/UDF to find real roots of a 6th degree polynonial equation.

Can anyone please help me or point me in a direction? I am trying to find the real roots of the equation below using VBA/UDF in excel. Thanks in advance. Equation: y= x6 - 7x5 + 4x4 - 14x3 + 12x2 - 5x + 23 = 0

In general, you have to use numerical methods to find roots of a 6th order polynomial -- unless you can somehow factor the polynomial into cubic / quadratic equations. Good ideas include
