I am calculating the age by this formula:

=(today()-"DOB")/365.25

in some cells, the age was given but in others this appeared: #value!

how do i solve this?

Is excel seeing the "DOB" field as numeric consistently? Sometimes I've had imported or pasted dates seen by Excel as text rather than date fields.

i will assume its consistent as i keyed in manually using the format dd/mm/yyyy and i have also selected the whole column for 'DOB' to make sure all the date format is in dd/mm/yyyy
