Dear Gurus,

please have a look at the worksheet i have uploaded

https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=D7C00A2BF29043E0!239

I wanted to get two results

A and B

I achevied getting result on A . but for B i failed to get result. I want to achive the result B which has one more condition explained in the worksheet and I wonder how to get result as my formula does not work. Or perhaps if you know any other better sultion formula through DSUM or SUMIFS or VBA code.

i would greatly appreciate your earleist feedback on my code.

i am sure it is simple, but my brain cannot get it.

thanks.

Sincerely
Jamil

Excel Facts

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
Hi Jamil

Try this formula for formula B:
=SUMPRODUCT(GL_Details!$Q$2:$Q$1749,--ISNUMBER(MATCH(GL_Details!$B$2:$B$1749,{2009\2010\2011},0)),1-ISNUMBER(MATCH(GL_Details!$C$2:$C$1749,{0\999\998},0)),--(LEFT(GL_Details!$J$2:$J$1749,2)="51"))
