Visual Basic Editor in Excel 2016 for Mac

Hey guys,

I'm using Excel 2016 for Mac. When I open Visual Basic Editor and start typing out some stuff, the text types straight downward, as though I'm hitting the enter key after each character. Any idea why it's doing this and how to fix?

It's super frustrating!

Are you inside of one of the modules when you type?

Yup. I know it's not represented on the screenshot, though, but it's the same when I am within the module.

Have you installed all the updates and restarted the computer as the only time I have heard of the issue is in the link below.
