Vlookup a cell then if date cell blank return zero not 00/01/1900

Hi

Can anyone help please

I have a job sheet that looks up various data from the main sheet. My problem is that when I lookup Cell B11 (this is the job reference) from the main data sheet, if there isn't a date in the third column (that is its left blank) I want the cell F10 to be left blank instead of returning 00/01/1900

My current formula is =VLOOKUP(Job_No,'Job No. Log'!$A:$C,3,TRUE)

Hi, you could keep your current formula as is and use a custom format to hide the zero, for example:

dd/mm/yyyy;;

Or alternatively you could try:

=IFERROR(1/(1/(VLOOKUP(Job_No,'Job No. Log'!$A:$C,3,TRUE))),"")
