I need help with an inventory spreadsheet. We have thousands of products and I am looking for it to look at the inventory number and if it matches it should place a value in the threshold column for each inventory number.

Example
1st spreadsheet
item inventory number threshold
dogs 123
cats 345
mice 645

on another tab on the spreadsheet I have
dogs 123 5000
cats 345 4000
mice 645 0

for some reason I can't get it to work
any help would be appreciated!

Excel Facts

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
Something Like this?

I just used it on the same sheet but feel free to change it as required.

<TABLE style="PADDING-RIGHT: 2pt; PADDING-LEFT: 2pt; FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial,Arial; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffffff" cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 border=1><TBODY><TR style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold; FONT-SIZE: 8pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #cacaca; TEXT-ALIGN: center"><TD> </TD><TD>A</TD><TD>B</TD><TD>C</TD><TD>D</TD><TD>E</TD><TD>F</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 17px"><TD style="FONT-SIZE: 8pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #cacaca; TEXT-ALIGN: center">1</TD><TD>Sheet 1</TD><TD> </TD><TD>RESULT</TD><TD>Sheet 2</TD><TD> </TD><TD> </TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 17px"><TD style="FONT-SIZE: 8pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #cacaca; TEXT-ALIGN: center">2</TD><TD>dogs</TD><TD style="TEXT-ALIGN: right">123</TD><TD style="TEXT-ALIGN: right">5000</TD><TD>dogs</TD><TD style="TEXT-ALIGN: right">123</TD><TD style="TEXT-ALIGN: right">5000</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 17px"><TD style="FONT-SIZE: 8pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #cacaca; TEXT-ALIGN: center">3</TD><TD>cats</TD><TD style="TEXT-ALIGN: right">456</TD><TD style="TEXT-ALIGN: right">4000</TD><TD>cats</TD><TD style="TEXT-ALIGN: right">456</TD><TD style="TEXT-ALIGN: right">4000</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 17px"><TD style="FONT-SIZE: 8pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #cacaca; TEXT-ALIGN: center">4</TD><TD>mice</TD><TD style="TEXT-ALIGN: right">789</TD><TD style="TEXT-ALIGN: right">0</TD><TD>mice</TD><TD style="TEXT-ALIGN: right">789</TD><TD style="TEXT-ALIGN: right">0</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
