Hi,

I am new to MS access, i have a web control on form of MS access, and would like to access the specific webtable on the form with some codes or technique.

I searched a lot, but in vain.

Thanks!

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
Do you mean you have a table with URL addresses and you want to select an address and the web browser control then shows you the website, or is there more to this? If so please state the control name and what you want to do.

Thanks! I have a form in access in which the Web control is pasted to access the Web page on the form, through selecting value from the ComboBox.

The webpage which opens up in the Web control on the form, have got 4 to 5 webtables. I want the webpage which opens up in the web control must display only webtable 1 and webtable 2, ignoring or hiding the other contents of webpage in the webcontrol.

Thanks!

What I know about this is very limited, you can target the website because of the URL, but the table you want I am unsure of.

If you opened the source of the website in notepad or something like that, or even FrontPage or another web application you might discover the table name and test to see if you can target that in your own web browser.

Thanks for responding to it. I know which of the webtable is required from the excel webqueries but table name must be known before going ahead, but how it is to be worked out from webcontrol on access form is still to be looked for.

I will just make a try with notepad or with frontpage to get the table name first.

Thanks!

You can't target load a particular element, eg table, directly using the web browser control.

Why do you want to anyway?

If you are.just displaying the page the user can navigate to the table just as they would with a 'normal' browser.

Thanks, I want the webcontrol to display only the table due to the reason:
1. Only the required space shall be utilized & shall get opened.
2. It shall not be well suited for the user to know the source of the webpage or for the required information.

Is there any way to show a particular area of webpage through any control of the form of access?

Thanks

No.

Not directly anyway.

PS Why do you want to hide the source?
