What is the point of the # in the formula: =SUM(OFFSET('demographics calcs'!$A2#,,MATCH(UF6,'demographics calcs'!1:1,0)-1))

I have recently inherited a formula from a colleague who has left, and I am a little confused as to the point of the # in it.

Can anyone shed any light please?

It's the way to refer to spilled ranges. So whatever output range is produced by the dynamic array formula in A2 will be used by that formula.

Brilliant, thanks. Not used to using spilled ranges, so I guess that's some reading up I need to do
