What libraries can be used to access SQL Server databases using Excel/VBA on a Mac?

My team is using the desktop version of Excel 365, and I'm converting a set of Excel tables to SQL tables and have a couple of questions. I'm using Excel forms and VBA for the front-end.

2) Some of my team is using Excel 365 (Desktop) on a Mac. ADO isn't going to run on a Mac because it's ActiveX. What libraries are available for me to use for my Mac users?
3) I'm familiar with using ADO to run queries and to retrieve recordists that I can navigate in and access specific fields. Does anyone have any code that will run on a Mac and accomplish the same?

I asked this question on Stackoverflow yesterday, and they blocked my account. I didn't realize this was so controversial.

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
