working positions

I would like to be able to sort peoples working positions by assigning a value to each persons name according to their level of responsibilty so that excel could assign them a position relative to where they had worked on a previous day(so they were not in the same position on consecutive days unless this was not actually possible)Is this at all possible?

If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
