Very simple question.

Is there any way to only cause an event to happen ONLY when the value in a cell actually changes?

   If Target.CountLarge > 1 Then Exit Sub
   If Not Intersect(Target, Range("A1:A110")) Then
      Application.EnableEvents = False
      Newval = Target.Value
      Application.Undo
      Oldval = Target.Value
      If Oldval = Newval Then GoTo Xit
      Target.Value = Newval
      'do something
   End If
Xit:
Application.EnableEvents = True

This works great for anything I do in column A but if I type anything anywhere else I get an

Object variable or With block variable not set

error message
