Windows(WorkbookName).Activate stops working

Windows 10 Home with Excel Office 2010. A macro that has run for years, now intermittently stops working when the Windows(WorkbookName).Activate command does not switch windows. The following Sheets command fails because the window didn't switch.

One suggestion that seems to help is turning on Screenupdating before then off again after. I'd like a better solution as the screen then displays a screen that I don't want displayed.

Recently, I changed from an Old Type ListBox to an Active X List box. I don't see how this figures in?
