I obtained a spreadsheet that apparently was developed on a 32 bit Windows system and I'm getting an error when I try to use it. I'm not familiar with this type of system conversion and I'd appreciate someone's help. The error seems to be on a function declaration.
See the attached error.

By any chance did you save this on a PC that has a more current generation that the one that shows the error? We had this . I have 2016 and 2013 on this PC. Which is the machine I saved it on. When it was opened on another PC only running 2013 that error came up. It occurs as Microsoft, in their infinite wisdom, add an add-in to the 2013 to include the 2016 libraries.

Why can't spreadsheets drive cars? They crash too often!

Can you explain what you mean by that? It doesn't make sense to me.

If you have 2013 installed and 2016 gets installed as well then the addin for 2016 library will be added to 2013. If you go to "Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications" and in the menu select "Tools", "References" you would see it. It is about the 4th one down on mine. Its called "Microsoft Office 16 Object Library"

I have MS Office 2016 and I have that Reference tool. I wish that would have solved my problem with the conversion.
