Combining Year, Month, and Day Values Into One Date to Extract the "ddd" Value Of That Date

I'm looking for a vba solution to convert three individual values representing the year, the month and day (nyear, nmonth, nday) from which I can gather the day value ("ddd") of that date. (nday2)

For example,
nyear = 2018
nmonth = 10
nday = 31

I'd like nday2 = "WED" (October 31, 2018)
What kind of VBA would I be looking to apply to accomplish this?
