Is there a quick key (crtl + something) to use the color fill feature in a cell?

I am coloring in some cells in a pattern, and every time I am highlighting the cell, then clicking the color fill button (the paint can tipping over).

Thank you!

Excel Facts

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
Great to have so much time that you can paint patterns.
Another opion is to Double-Click the Format-Painter (the paintbrush) then any cell you select will also be filled. Click it once to switch it off

Very sneaky...

This is WAY cool... and saves my poor little fingers (I was stretching as far as I possibly could to reach the Crtl and the Y at the same time).

Thank you again, I bow before your Excel Intelligence...
