Hello,

Could you please point to why my MS Word 2016 cannot view (and save) bar codes. Upon opening (or saving) a document that already has a bar code my MS Word converts the bar codes to text.

Do you know how to fix this behavior?

Regards,
Rajesh

Excel Facts

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
If you're seeing something like:
{DisplayBarcode “490123456789” EAN13 \t}
all that means is that you have the field code display toggles on. Pressing Alt-F9 toggles the field code display on/off.
