Hello! I'm using excel 2007. I have a 4 column table: day (date), body weight (number), and time (text-morning, afternoon, evening), plus a notes column (also text).

I'm trying to creat a line graph of day (x-axis) vs body weight (Y axis). Each point will be a color corresponding to time, ie green for morning, red for evening. The color of the connecting line doesnt matter.

In addition, if there is a note, i'd like it to show on the graph automatically next to that data point.

Thanks for any help in advance!

Russ

Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
Steve,

Thank you very much! This is perfect, I'll need to go over it for a bit to understand it better, though :)

Have a great day,
Russ
