4 on 4 off Schedule help

Hello, I’m looking to set up a 4 on 4 off schedule that alternates days and nights too. I have a rota set up but I’m willing to rework it to fit in with the formula anyone can help with. I have set up a regular 4 on 4 off using a previous threads idea but Im hoping to advance it to show “days” and “nights” and “off”. Also show all information on a separate sheet and all formula work on a different sheet for viewing purposes. Hope someone can help

I want a visual like above that also includes day and night instead of just on. Also if possible a way to transfer onto a separate rota the names of people that are on the days/nights

the visual above is only 2 statuses, how do you want a 3 status visual to look?

I don't know the expression rota? Can you also give a visual example of what that is like?

Sorry a rota is a schedule. So like above but it would show “Days” then “Off” then “Nights” then “Off instead of just “on” and “off”. I will pass some pictures on tomorrow to help hopefully

If you can't draw us a visual, how can you expect us to create a formula that creates it?
