Hi there,

I've never actually written a macro for Access before so here goes!

All I want to do is write a procedure that (once attached to a button that I'll place in the toolbar within my database)

Will export a query (with formatting) to Excel. Saving in the same location with the same file type/name every time.

Can anyone give me a starter for ten?

Andy

When they said...
When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
Choose the TransferSpreadsheet command from Macros. The built-in help there should explain what each argument is. It is pretty straighforward, and you do not need to know anything about coding or VBA.
