I've created a few macros for formatting that I like and saved them to a file. I assigned buttons to the macros in the Quick Access Toolbar, but every time I use one of the buttons, it opens the source file with the Macros. How do I get the Macros in the Quick Access Toolbar to work without having to have the Excel file open that has the macros saved in it?

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
The typical solution for this is to use PERSONAL.xlsb which is always open and hidden.
