Hey

I don't know if this is possible or not, but hoping it is

We have an excel form we use at work, and it has legacy tick boxes in it.

We would like to know the user of who ticked that box as they are approval boxes.

If we replace these with active x controls, is it possible to incorporate the (Environ$("Username")) into the active x control so that it would return the user who checked the box last into a cell?

Thanks,
Cat

Excel Facts

Pivot Table Drill Down
Double-click any number in a pivot table to create a new report showing all detail rows that make up that number
Do you want to enter the userid (window id) at the end of the row, or into a sepciti column

Try this code. U change the Range("a4:a and activecell.offest(row,column)
NextFree = Range("A4:A" & Rows.Count).Cells.SpecialCells(xlCellTypeBlanks).Row
ActiveCell.Offset(0, 0).Value = Environ("Username")

Try this.

ActiveSheet.Range("C26").Select
ActiveCell.Value = Environ("Username")
