Active X Control and Shape Handling

I have 2 shapes, stacked (Rectangle 1 and 2). I have these stacked over 2 activeX controls (Labels) so that when I mouse over the group, Rectangle 2 appears/disappears. The labels are both ordered to the back and transparent.

I want to take this a step further and also be able to click on shape 2 (when it appears) and have a macro run (i.e. activate sheet2).

I have the macro built/assigned to Rectangle 2. However, when I click on Rectangle 2 - one of the labels becomes opaque instead.

Sample sizes: Rectangle 1 = 3x3; Rectangle 2 = 2x2. Label1 (activeX controls) 2.5x2.5. Label2 3.5x3.5

Am I able to have my cake and eat it too?
