Activeworkbook.Saved = True does not work when refreshing data

Hi,

I wondered if anyone else had experience of the following issue and how to fix. I currently have a few spreadsheets that I use that I don't want people to accidentally save. I need them to be able to Save and Save As, but I don't want it to ask them by default as it is all too easy to click "Yes". I used the simple and effective Me.Saved = True in the workbook close event, which prevented this in the past. However, I have noticed on sheets where I have Data Connections (Power Query mainly), when I refresh those queries and attempt to close the workbook, I am prompted to Save in spite of the me.saved code. I can't save as an XLST as another excel add-in does not recognise that format. I wondered if anyone else had come across this issue and had found a way to resolve it? I've managed to replicate the issue in a number of different environments, so I know that it isn't specific to one user/network/excel version etc. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Rico
