Hello,
Does anyone have any idea how to create a chart with a photo like the one I found below. Full credit to dollardaze.org, It appears like this might have been created using excel and I would love to incorporate this type of charting techniques into my own work.
Any suggestions?
thanks.

Excel motto
Not everything I do at work revolves around Excel. Only the fun parts.
The dollar design is an area chart.

Select the area, format data series, fill, picture or texture fill.

Thank you.
I am able to get a picture as a background. ("format plot area" "fill" "picture")
but how do I make the picture shape a function of the data? How do I make it "decline" with the data seris?
Thanks very much

When you start, are you just selecting the particular data series' area, or the entire graph's plot area?

The plot area. I assume this is incorrect?

However, when I click on "format data series" the only "fill" type option I have is "marker fill" which when I select a picture nothing happens, the data series line does not change and the picture does not appear either above or below the line.

Thanks

Hi rylan

Are you sure you have an Area chart? What you describe is like you have for ex. a Line chart instead.
