Hi all, hopefully someone can help me as I'm going round in circles trying to get this to work as I want.

I have 2 columns (A and B) of data side by side, some values positive, some negative. I need a formula in Column C that will compare the first 2 columns and give me a text output based on this. I need the following conditions:
1. If A is positive and B is negative then return "Good"
2. If A is positive and B is positive then return "Bad"
3. If A is negative and B is positive return "Good"
4. If A is negative and B is negative then return "Bad"

I can only seem to get half these conditions working with IF/AND/OR etc. Even if it had to be split into 2 columns, one for the "Good" and one for "Bad" I could live with it.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Neil

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
