If I use

Code: 
application.caption = "my program"

it will display

my program - file name

is there a way to drop the file name

No problem. :)

Open the VBE (alt-f11), click Insert->Module. You've jsut created a normal module in your project. This is where the code belongs, see if this helps. :)

Excel Facts

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
