application display alerts false...does it automatically save ?

was curious if display alerts is false ...so no prompt to save or not is given ...so does it save the workbook automatically or defaults to not save?

This example closes the Workbook Book1.xls and does not prompt the user to save changes. Changes to Book1.xls are not saved.
