Hi All ,
I'm trying to automate my trading on betfair horseracing using Excel , So the set up is I have a countdown clock in seconds to the start of event , in the next column I have the horses price updating in sync with each new price/ second being in a new row .I would like to monitor the price for a sharpish move so when price moves 10ticks in or out I get a signal . Can you please advise me if this is possible? I've tried using time , so if price moves X ticks in X seconds but that keeps missing signals because as we all know price rarely moves straight in or out.
Many thank Greg

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.

Evening Offthelip,
Just had check of VBA editor and it's all password protected, so guess it back to the drawing board for me 😢 there is a free sheet that come with the trading platform so maybe I will try and put something like I've done on this sheet . Thank you so much for you fantastic help and advice, it's greatly appreciated 👍
