Hello

I have a pivot table of waiting times and looking at the below for 2017, the grand total is wrong. When I highlight Oct, Nov & Dec totals, the average of selected cells (in the bottom status bar) says 3:29:19

Can anyone shed any light on why they're different?

Average Dwell Time
Audit DateTotal
Oct05:04:22
Nov02:41:03
Dec02:42:32
Grand Total02:42:09

How to calculate loan payments in Excel?
Use the PMT function: =PMT(5%/12,60,-25000) is for a $25,000 loan, 5% annual interest, 60 month loan.
Without having your raw data to verify my conclusion, I believe it is because the Grand Total is the average of your raw data and not of the data presented to you. If you were to average the data in the table, as you did, it would be an average of an average and would be invalid. Try manually averaging the raw data for those months and see if it comes to 02:42:09.
