I have cells B9,B11,B13,B15, and B17 that I need averaged. However, I don't want to include any cells that don't have a numerical value. Those cells all have a formula similar to this:

Code:
=IF(B22>0,B22,"-")

So any cells that display: '-' should not be included. Is this doable, because I am having a tough time with this.

Thanks,

Andrew

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Hi,

You can use this
=AVERAGE(B9,B11,B13,B15,B17)

the AVERAGE function doesn't evaluate cells with "-"
