I'm trying to, what I think is, 3-D Cell References across worksheets to calculate a baseball league's statistics.

My document can be downloaded here: http://twitterbaseballny.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/2016-Twitter-Baseball-League-Wide-Stats.xlsx

I've set up my excel file with the first sheet for the cumulative numbers from the proceeding worksheets of individual boxscores of each game. So, for example I would like to add-up all the ABs from all the boxscores for each individual player. Each player will not appear in each game and when they do appear in a game, their spot in the worksheet will vary. I tried on player Garcia, Mark who played in only G1 and G4.

I'm thinking there must be away to tell excel to only add a specific column across worksheets when the name in a row matches the name in the row on the first worksheet.

I followed this video but to no success; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tmh5vI5dK6o

Any help is very much appreciated.
