Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple

As regards Microsoft, they issue a language specification, and hold object models for all the office applications, but no they do not have any "how to program in VBA" guides.
