I have a form with about 10 check boxes on it that are ticked when answering the questions. I want a button that someone can press that checks all the boxes at once - i.e. a "yes to all" button. I also want one that clears them all as well.

Can anyone suggest how to do this?

Thanks

Whoops, I should have looked at your post more closely, you are using Access –suggested solution was intended for Excel. Ever so sorry about that.
I don’t have Access on my system & its been about 15 years since I have done anything using it.

You can try replacing procedure with following updated version

Code:
 Sub AllCheckBoxes(ByVal State As Boolean)
    Dim ctrl As Control
    For Each ctrl In Me.Controls
        If ctrl.ControlType = acCheckBox Then ctrl.Value = State
    Next ctrl
End Sub

This is very much a guess – if does not work hopefully, another here can step in & resolve for you

So sorry.

Dave

No worries - thanks for trying!

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
