I am building a spreadsheet for a friend that lives in another state. Each year he has me change things and I email it back to him.
It has several buttons and many macros. When I send him something I have updated he gets it back and
only has to click the "Enable Macros" button. This year he says he just can't make anything work because its not a trusted source.
I have changed the macro setting in the Trust Center before I send it and that doesn't work. Need some help please.

Using a mouse in Excel is the work equivalent of wearing a lanyard when you first get to college
Whenever I have that problem, I move the file to the 'My Documents' folder before opening it. It usually works for me then.

Sounds like the friend will have to right click on the file/properties/Unblock/Apply/OK

Nothing here worked but ........ Heres what I did.
I went to the "Trusted Center Settings" "Trusted Locations" and I had him
make a folder for my spreadsheets only. Now, every thing he puts in that folder is trusted and opens.
