cell format for hours

Hi

I have tryed to make time sheet, wher i type in the time when i start working and the time when I am done.

I then want to have the system calculat the hours.

I have found a format wher i have to type 08:00 16:00 but can i pre define so I just can type 800 to 1600 or 0800 to 1600 then the system knows that it is 08:00 to 16:00?

This is a basic exel question:(
