Hello all

I have 2 worksheets and I need the colours in cells one sheet to change depending on the entries in another sheet.

The formulae in sheet 2 would be something along the lines of
If Time in Cell A1 is before 9:30 and Cell D1 and D2 are equal to D4 then cell in Sheet 1 is Green.
OR Time in Cell A1 is after 9:30 and Cell D1 and D2 are equal to D4 then cell in Sheet 1 is Orange.
Otherwise cell in sheet 1 is Red.

I have tried conditional formatting but can't use 2 sheets.

Help please
Thanks

Ratty

Hi daverat4

Welcome to the board.

As you have found conditional formatting does not work across sheets. The answer is to use a "helper" cell in sheet 2.

Use the same formula that you would for the conditional format but instead the result would be true or false. Then reference the helper cell for your conditional format.
