Checking if a cell contains a hyperlink

Hi everyone,

I guess the title of this post explains it all.
I have given a task to clean up a database (a mailing list) which contains extra blank rows in places it should not. I managed to clean up most of them but some residual ones would only be recognizable as unwanted if the cell immediately above contains a hyperlink. Thus the question. There is no Excel function ISHYPERLINK(), but I need something that would return True or False when testing for one.

As usual, my true appreciation for your help.

Pulled this off the net somewhere. See if it works for you.
If range("a1").Hyperlinks.Count >0 then
msgbox "cellA1 has hyperlink"
endif
