Code that stops the copy selection animation (dotted flashing lines defining the copied rannge)

I have code that successfully identifies a range, copies the selection, then pastes it on another worksheet. But when I return to the source worksheet (with the copied range selection), the animated dotted lines that define the range/selection are still there until I hit escape. Any way tor remove that dotted-line anmation programatically within the code?
