Hi I need a little help.
I need to compare the value in Sheet1.Col-E with Sheet2.Col-F if they're equal then copy value from Sheet1.Col-A to Sheet2.Col-E.

Thanks for any help
David

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
You havent said whether you want a formula solution or VBA.
Sheet1.ColE is not a valid cell reference, Sheet1!E1 is.

Formulas cant copy data to other cells.
A cell can be the result of a calculation based on another cell.

So

in Sheet2!E1
=IF(Sheet1!E1=Sheet2!F1,Sheet1!E1,"NOT EQUAL")

If you must copy data to other cells then you need VBA of which I'm no expert.

Hi, Thanks for the reply, and yes I'd like a vba solution if possible.

Thanks
