I hope someone can lend a hand.

I need to compare the data in two columns - Columns A & B.

If the data in Column B also appears in Column A, regardless of its position in the column, then I want to highlight each instance of the duplicate value.

The data in Column A contains the same value two to three times so using the Conditional Formatting won't work.

The desired outcome can either be to highlight a field or add a statement like True in a new column.

Column A
Column B
Column C

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Excel Facts

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
Another option
=ISNUMBER(MATCH(A2,B$2:B$6,0))

which can be used either in col C, or in conditional formatting
