I have two tables in one sheet. I combine parallel data from both of them into a third table.
If a cell in table one >0 I want to color the parallel cell in table 3.

Table 1table 2Combined
51005 100
01500 150
61206 120
31403 140

<colgroup><col width="64" span="5" style="width:48pt"> </colgroup><tbody>
</tbody>

Thanks for your help

Hi, Please select the lines for table 3 say if here it is in Column C then selecting C2:C4 then go to conditional formatting and enter =$A2>0 (assuming Table1 is in Column A)

Thanks Aryatect for your quick response. Your solution is working on one cell. My tables are 30X10 each can be even bigger. I need that one cell in table one will effect the parallel cell in table 3. My combined formula is =a1&k1.

Before applying conditional formatting you have to select all rows in combined table, if your table has heading then select Col2 to Col9999 and then apply =$A2>0

your solution is effecting table 3 from the status of A2 only . That is not my case. Each cell in table 3 is should be effected effected from he parallel cell in table 1. For example If table 3 starts at a50 - a50 is effected by a1, b50 by b1 etc.

Maybe you did not understood me, but I managed to get my answer from you. Instead of =$a$5>0 i had to write =a5>0. In that way the condition changed according to the parallel cell.
Thanks
