Hi,

I have an excel sheet and I am trying to apply conditional formatting to the cells in Column $K$9:$K$23.
If the cells in column $L$9:$L$23 contains either "O" or "X".

The criterias and a example:
If cell $K$9 contains a numeric value and the $L$9 contains "O", then do nothing.
If cell $K$9 contains a numeric value and the $L$9 contains "X", then do nothing.
If cell $K$9 doesn't contains a numeric value and the $L$9 contains "X", then fill the cell $K$9 with red color.

I have uploaded a sample file of how I would like the result to look like, you can download the excel file from the link below:

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
What do you want if K9 contains a number and L9 contains neither O nor X?
