Here is what I have. I have a cell that contains a date that something is due. In the next cell beside it i have a "date recieved" column that tells when that something came in. What I want the "date recieved" cell to do is turn yellow if the "date required" has past and nothing has been entered into the "date recieved cell". How do I go about doing this?

Thanks

Let L5 be required by
Let K5 be received on

Cond format for cell K5 =

select formula is...

=AND(TODAY()>$L$5,$K$5="")

This works... obviously, set your format to cell pattern 'yellow'
