Hello! I'm new to excel and I'm doing a nutrition planner for myself but I need some help.
It looks like this:

I want to make a drop list out of another sheet that has the food with its properties and then it should select each food and automatically fill out the food properties.
I was able to make a drop list and fill out the food name, but not the food properties with it, it looks like this:

This is the other sheet which contains the food database.

Thank you very much in advance!!!

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
I believe you should have a mapping of food and properties defined in a separate place in your excel workbook.

then filling up properties will be a lookup function.

Or I am missing something... I guess you already have food and properties defined.. can you show that ?

Thank you!
I used the Data Validation and Vlookup functions to make it.
Do you know how to copy the meal 1 for example and replicate it another 8 times using the same format an not messing with the vlookup functions already defined?
Because I tried to do it and all the values changed to #N/A.

replicate it another 8 times
Which cell has Mean 1 ?
From your first pic, it appears to be in B6 and then merged and now where you want to replicate ? which range / cell ?

Do you want to paste this section down somewhere without changing the formulas ?
