Thanks!

Technically, a TB is 10^12 bits, but common usage is 2^40 (which is a TebiByte). Pick your poison.

thank you! my only issue with this is that with many days of data in my chart it will be tough to read for management. do i have any other options or is this my best bet?

What could be easier to read?

Oops on the definition:

10^12 bytes = 1 Terabyte (TB)

2^40 bytes = 1 Tebibyte (TiB)

The formula doesn't affect the data display... If you want that granularity of data it's hard to know how to re-format it to make it easier to digest.

The numbers in your example seem fairly stable for each platform, so you could provide a running 7-day average of each platform. Or you could put the platform data into a 30-day line chart with each series as a platform. Or provide a baseline average and only highlight days or amounts where the usage was above or below that baseline - the good ol' traffic light metaphor for each platform.

here is how my data is displayed going all the way to todays date and growing daily:

all this data has to go in to a line graph for mgmt. any advice on how to format better?
